When you access this website, technical data required to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security may be processed automatically. This may include, in particular, your IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system and similar technical information.

Before you are redirected to Stripe or PayPal, the booking form records your email address, optional Discord username, selected coaching plan, a booking reference and the requesting IP address. We use the booking details to associate the payment with your request, contact you and arrange the coaching service; the IP address is used for rate limiting, security and abuse prevention.
The legal basis may include steps requested before entering into a contract and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), as well as compliance with applicable legal obligations where relevant.
Booking records, including the associated IP address, are retained only for as long as needed to manage the enquiry or contract, prevent abuse and satisfy applicable accounting, tax, dispute-resolution and other legal obligations. No fixed period is stated here because the applicable period must be confirmed for the specific record and jurisdiction.
The portal uses an essential session cookie to keep authenticated users signed in. Student account information may include name, username, email, Discord username, access status, login activity, linked public AoE2 profile ID, game statistics, coaching notes, goals, messages, notifications and video links. These data are used to provide and administer the coaching service and its dashboard.
Portal records are retained while needed to provide or administer access and afterwards only as required for legitimate operational, dispute-resolution and legal obligations. Account deletion and the applicable retention periods should be assessed according to the record type rather than assumed to be one universal period.
The portal stores the chosen language and visual theme in your browser's local storage. These preferences remain on the device until you change them or clear browser storage; they are not advertising identifiers.
When an AoE2 profile is linked, its public profile information and match statistics may be requested through the site's AoE2 data service to display progress and analysis.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity or comparable advertising/profiling analytics on the public website. Essential authentication cookies and the local preferences described above are used in the portal.
The public website uses locally hosted fonts. Portal pages currently request fonts from Google Fonts and a dashboard chart library from the jsDelivr content-delivery network. When those portal pages are opened, the browser may send technical connection data such as the IP address and user-agent information to those providers. Their own privacy terms apply to that processing.
This website itself does not process payment card data or bank account data.
If you choose to purchase a coaching service via Stripe or PayPal, you will be redirected to the website or checkout environment of the respective payment provider. The respective provider then processes the payment under its own responsibility. Please consult the privacy information of the respective provider.
Depending on the feature you use, recipients may include Hostinger (hosting), Stripe or PayPal (payment processing), Google (portal font delivery), jsDelivr (portal script delivery) and technical services used to obtain public AoE2 profile data. Data are shared only as needed for the relevant service, security, contract administration or legal compliance.
You have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability.
You also have the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR where grounds relating to your particular situation exist.
In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
